Parents teach your kids how to fight. A bully wont stop until you stop them. Telling someone wont help. Raise your kids to bully the bullies.

I wanted to thank everyone for all the encouragement you have shown to me during my reign as Missouri Teen International. I have had a blast making appearances around Missouri and I hope that by putting a spotlight on bullying hopefully more youth will think about their actions before they hurt another person. I also wanted to pass along some very encouraging information that was recently passed through the Missouri Legislative System. Governor Matt Blunt pushed a new law through that included new updates against cyber-bullying. Following the suicide of Megan Mier, a 13-year-old-girl,the victim of internet harrassment, Gov. Matt Blunt created an Internet Harassment Task Force. In January, it proposed a law that would make it a crime to harass someone using an electronic device— from a class A misdemeanor to a class D felony. The task force also called for state education officials to consider computer ethics and etiquette classes and suggested legislation adding harassment as a mandatory reportable offense under current education.
My high school, Cape Central, has implented an extra 30 minutes on to each school day. During that time they will not only help students with extra tutoring and how to be more successful in their studies but they are also going to address student's character and morals. Bullying will be a topic that is going to be covered. YEAH!!! With Governor Matt Blunt's new revision to the law, hopefully many schools will now make sure that bullying is a subject that is talked about.
Again, thank you for all your support and encouragement.
